Yeah Baby!
Today was my first total "non-stop" two-miler! I know that article I read supports the notion of run/walk, but I just wanted to see if I could do it. I did the two miles in 22 minutes (approx.) The first 3/4 mile was a real breeze - actually the whole first mile today wasn't TOO bad. But man, by the last 1/2 mile I was winded and the whole run today I was running through some hip, shoulder, and lower back tightness. I just took some Aleve and that really really helps. I took a HOT shower this morning and that really seemed to loosen things up too - I think I will try to hit the hot tubs at the gym on M W F's. Anyway, I was happy I was able to do it despite having to run through some things today.

Well I finally got here! I'm not sure if this is how I respond but here it goes!
Keep up the good work on your training. You're keeping me motivated. It's kinda funny cuz you said your first 3/4 mile was easy. That's usually my hardest. I think I'm gonna do some cross training at the gym too. That should help.
